“I have had one of these that control my hue lights. It is about 6 years old and has stopped working. I am thinking the battery is dead. Is there a way to replace it?”

There is no battery. It's powered by kinetic energy. Keep pressing the buttons over and over and then I would remove the accessory from the Hue app and reinstall.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is not a battery in the device. It runs on kinetic energy created by tapping the buttons. It may be that it needs a reset. You can find a video for that on youtube.
