Nope. I bought cheap light switch covers so guest will not use them.

Please try again later.The Hue Tap is good if you want to use just a few scenes, and only need on/off action (that is, you can't used the Tap to adjust the brightness etc.). The Hue switches can be linked to the specific bulbs/scenes you want. A second option, is much more functional. If you link the switch to the Hue Bridge 2.0 first and then select the scenes, you can use the Tap switch for on/off functionality, and adjust the brightness using he smart phone app.

Please try again later.No. The physical light switch in your house or building's existing wiring would have to be in the on position for any Hue lights to work, that is how the device is going to get power. Then internally in the bulbs, that can be controlled over wireless, they can be on or off. All this button does is send a signal to your Hue bridge that it then interprets to do something such as turn on a light, or turn it off, or activate a particular light recipe that you can create within the Hue software.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The best way to get around this problem is to hide your traditional light switch inside the wall with a solid plate cover and then place the HUE Light Dimmer on top of the solid place cover to make it feel like a traditional light switch.
