• Yes - they will turn on and off with the regular switch. However, when the light switch is off, the light bulb connected to the switch won't respond to remote commands from your phone or Alexa. Turning the switch on allows you to control the light remotely. Hope that helps!

• Yes, although you may get some flicker with a standard dimmer and you need to know that the bulb completely loses communication if the standard wall switch is off. I budget for one Phillips dimmer per room that I install, and I bypass the old wall switches so that the comm module in the bulb always has power.

• Yes, you can control this light with a normal light switch with basic on/off capability. To get more functionality requires the use of an app.

• Yes you can, these can be controlled by your wall switches, the only difference with these is that you'll have to flick the switch off and on again if you turned them off using the app.

• Yes, regular switch still works but it will rest to white. You have to go back to app to select color. If you leave switch on and control with your phone or computer to turn on and off the color selection stays. You also put lights into a group to get consistent effect.
