Yes. You can use a regular switch or a dimmer switch. I have the Hue dimmer switch and works great.

Yes. You can still use a regular light switch to control them. The switch stays ON. If you have the lights off on your app and you want to turn them on with the switch, you just turn the light switch off and back on and the lights will immediately come on

Yes, the lights turn on to full if they used on a switch. If they are off with the switch on you need to turn the switch off then on again to force the light on.

Yes, but if you want to use the smart functionality you should leave the switch in the on position and use your phone or other smart device to turn it on and off.

Yes. The light switch will control these bulbs like any other light. You need to leave the switch on to control them remotely and/or for your routines to run

For normal operation the light switch should be left on. The light we be turned on or off within the Hue app or other accessories. If you need to use the light as a normal bulb simply turn the switch off and on again. The light should now be on. This will not disconnect your bulb from the hue bridge and it will continue to follow routines and be controllable with the hue app.

If you cut power to them and turn them back on, they turn back on in a regular setting (Hue calls it "bright"). So yes, but if the power is cut to them, you won't be able to control them (from the app or accessories) so it might hinder your experience. Alternatively, there is a Hue dimmer switch that you can link to one or multiple rooms. They also sell a motion sensor.
