No. The wireless shaver does not have a receptacle for a connector to a charger. The bottom has an empty hole. A shame actually, I guess they wanted to save money. The charging pad works well though, just large and heavy if you are traveling a lot. But it only uses around 6% battery per shave for me so it should last a long time. I had my new S9000 Prestige for 2 weeks now and have not recharged it yet. 'Works well. For longer trips a small plug in charger would have been really nice. I would have paid extra but not an option. Why don't they ask consumers for advice on products. At this price point cost is no longer the object, performance and convenience is paramount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure why there are conflicting answers. I double-checked mine (Philips S9000 Prestige, the model that comes with the Qi wireless charger): - there is indeed a hole at the bottom of the shaver, but it doesn't seem to serve any purpose. USB-C does *not* fit into the hole. - the USB cable going to the wireless charger pad is *not* detachable from it and yes would have been a good option for travel. however as other answers mention, one full charge does last a surprisingly long time (even if you shave daily it's probably good for a 1-2 week trip at least)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. It only charges via the Qi pad. The model below this that doesn't come with the Qi pad DOES charge from the wall. Look for that model instead if you really want wall charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will not work with wired charger even though there is a charging port hidden at the end. Remove the cover and you will see the the wired charging port. You can plug the wired charger in there but the device will not take any charge. I tried and fail with different wired chargers as well. Philips deliberately disable it. Shavercheck.com also confirmed this as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, there is a hidden port. This video explains how to access it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Alq-OGgy3Q

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must plug your charging pad into a receptacle but you only have to lay the razor on the pad to charge it. The good thing about this razor is that the charge lasts a very long time. More than 40 shaves in my case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. There is no alternate way of charging. Plus it takes about three hours to charge. But, any QI charger will work.
