    • Answer Note that the manufacturer claims the product has been rated IP66. The first digit being a 6 indicates that it is completely dust-tight. The second digit being a 6 indicates that it is safe from "powerful water jets" but NOT immersion-proof. If you need a truly waterproof case, look elsewhere. IPx7 protects against immersion up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. IPx8 protects against immersion over 1 meter or 30 minutes.
