A:AnswerAre you referring to an alpine type R or Kicker Comp? I have this amp currently in one of my cars with 2 12" pioneer subs, it sounds crazy! In my other car I have one Alpine type R with a pioneer 2600w amp. depends on the actual sub and the set up you are trying to achieve, contact the install bay directly to make sure.
A:AnswerIf you wire the DVC in parallel it'll make them 2 Ohm each. then do parallel and series and youll get a 2 Ohm system at 1400 RMS. (This amp is not 1/2 Ohm stable so you cannot take this route). At 2 Ohms this amp produces 800 Watt RMS, its not enough. You could get 2 though and it'll work, or upgrade to a different amp with at least 1000 Watt RMS at 2 Ohms (70% of total RMS)
A:AnswerI currently run a pioneer 9601 strap-bridged into two square Kicker Solo-baric L7S 12's... it pushes them to blow point if i go above half gain. Be careful to start first time with radio vol. low and gain at min. I made that mistake ONCE (subs are $350 each and popped both at once.
