A:Answer With a 5.1 receiver you would just use this speaker as a typical surround speaker, this speaker does have a separate input on the back for the up-firing Atmos driver, but you would not use it like that for a 5.1 system - the inputs on the back can stay bridged together for a 5.1 system (the bridge is just a metal bar on the back that connects the separate inputs together) - but you would be ready to upgrade later with an Atmos receiver, then you would un-bridge the connections and feed them separately!
