Q: QuestionWith a 5.1 amplifier does this set of speakers use 4 drivers out of the 5 I have available, Not including the Centre speaker output. How will this sound with an older 5.1 system.
Asked by Timbo.
- A:Answer With a 5.1 receiver you would just use this speaker as a typical surround speaker, this speaker does have a separate input on the back for the up-firing Atmos driver, but you would not use it like that for a 5.1 system - the inputs on the back can stay bridged together for a 5.1 system (the bridge is just a metal bar on the back that connects the separate inputs together) - but you would be ready to upgrade later with an Atmos receiver, then you would un-bridge the connections and feed them separately!

Q: QuestionAre there 2 conections one for front speakers and one for height for the atmos effect speakers for the sc91
Asked by Gt.
- A:Answer Forgive me if I misunderstood your question (or if my answer is quite late), but as I interpret your question: If you are asking about the Pioneer Elite SP-EBS73-LR dolby atmos speakers, there are two separate connections on each speaker. One connection for the front speaker (if that is where you choose to connect it) and one for the height speaker. So the two speakers will occupy four speaker connections from your receiver. I have a Denon AVR-X1300 which has no specific "height" speaker connections. I had to connect the height speakers to my "surround back" connections. ( I have 5 speakers (no sub)). After looking at the configuration of your SC-1, it appears you have a separate connection labeled "Top Middle" where you are able to specifically connect the height portion of your dolby atmos speakers. Hope that helps.

Q: QuestionDo the top drivers only work if you have Atmos (or similar)? If you're just hooking this up as a stereo (non-surround) system, will the top drivers fire? Or do they only work if you have an Atmos (or similar) system? Thanks.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer They have two separate connections top and bottom, you could use the top speakers as a presences speakers if your AV receiver has the outputs but for stereo or two channel operation you should only use the lowers speakers which are directed to the listening area.

Q: QuestionMountingI would like to mount these on a wall. Is there a bracket that goes with these? /Any suggestions?
Asked by Robert.
- A:Answer No, these speakers did not come with any way to mount on a wall. They are fairly small so will fit on a fairly small shelf, however.
