• I don't want to insult your intelligence but it can be the wiring or the input. I have the optical wire running to my tv to get sound from the TV and everything else runs to the receiver like XboxOne and Direct TV on the HDMI OUT I Believe while I have the receiver HDMI IN from the TV. Hopefully it helps somewhat.
