A:Answer My best advice is to hit the Jeep Message Boards to find out about your specific year and model. I have a 2011 Wrangler and had to buy an antenna adapter, dash kit, e-brake bypass, all of these things were under $20 total. My big expenses came with the idatalink Maestro wiring harnesses. These are used to retain the use of my steering wheel controls and to utilize 100% of the radio's functions, such as digital speed gauges, temperature and tire pressure. I would also recommend that you spend and additional $15 for a backup camera and get that installed as part of the process. The radio has a backup camera input.
