“I had mine installed by Best Buy. No matter what I do. It will not play a DVD. It's locked. I do the parking brake thing over and over. Still nothing!! I'm getting frustrated”

I had the same problem. Best Buy did the install and my DVD would work for video playback, only audio. Most the time it wouldn't advance past the park brake screen. I took it back to Best Buy and the installer contacted Pioneer. It seems my 09 Ford Fusion SEL required special brake connection for the HU. Works great now. I advise you to it back to the Best Buy installation department. If they have issues tell them to call Pioneer for a solution.
