• The Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX has an AM/FM HD Radio tuner built-in. The AM/FM/HD radio tuner performance is based on distance to the radio station and power of the radio station signal at the vehicle at any given time. AM/FM/HD radio performance does not rely on cell phone signal in any way. When using the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX for navigation through Apple CarPlay or through Android Auto, the navigation system is heavily reliant upon cell service. With no cell service you may not be able to use the navigation system at all.
