• A:Answer As i can see it for now no. I have a 3 phones all activated 1 Samsung and 2 iPhones, the iPhone does work with the usb plug in with the waze app, however Google maps does work great with the samsung galaxy. That did disappoint me at first that my waze app didn't work with my samsung cuz i dig my Samsung Galaxy way way more than my iPhone and like waze too much better than google maps, but ive gotten used to it now.

• A:Answer Apple decides what apps work on Apple CarPlay. This is not a function of the in-dash receiver. As of 2022 December, I'm not aware of any video playback available through Apple CarPlay. Navigation, and other location based services as well as audio apps are available through Apple CarPlay.

Since it's impossible to know into what vehicle it will be installed, the dash installation kit is not included. A proper dash installation kit and wiring kit will be required for installation into any vehicle. The installation kit is available at the Best Buy install bay.
