The biggest difference is that you no longer have to go in to the menu and switch from Apple CarPlay to android auto it automatically knows once you switch the phones you still shouldn't have them plugged in at the same time though

Contact your local Best Buy to find out if the Maestro is compatible with your vehicle as well.
