A:AnswerIt is considered a “floating screen” and it does set out a little compared to a in dash unit. I have a attached a photo of this unit installed in my 2008 Toyota Tundra. This is an amazing head unit I love everything about it!
A:AnswerThe back up camera does not come with the radio. You can purchase the Pioneer back up camera and have it installed. That was the route I took on my '99 GMC Sierra and it was worth doing so.
A:AnswerYou need to see if there’s a wiring harness for it. I have all my factory features, including steering control and backup camera, in my 08 Tahoe.
A:AnswerI wish I could answer your question. Best Buy sold us the wrong equipment even though we went over it several times. They had us order the wrong parts. I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. It's still not installed because of the wait list. And if Best Buys messes things up, you still get delayed and added to a list that is two months out. I recommend you buy this item somewhere else. They don't have there stuff together at this location. Manger didn't do a thing to help us.
A:AnswerIt should be able to retain those controls. You need the Maestro RR or RR2. I’d recommend you go to the idatalink website. You can get a list of all functionality based on your specific vehicle and the deck you are buying.
