You set the levels to what you like. You have 13 levels of adjustment and bass boost and power boost that affect the sound. Do you like hi hi's or deep lows or a combo of both. Its all in the kind of music you like and what you want to hear. There are generic settings for more voice or more orchestra that I dont use. I spend the time to tune each db level to what I like ans then save setting.
