A:AnswerDoes not require an external Bluetooth, however I am quite ignorant when it comes to anything other than talk text and emails with my phone. But more importantly don’t bother hooking the radio up. It is by far the worst radio I have ever had in a truck. They tried to do to much with too few of buttons and knobs to accommodate the features. Each button has two features which is no big deal. But the center knob if accidentally pressed will put it in a different option than what was intended. I switched from cd to radio and the volume was much higher when it switched to the radio and accidentally pushed the center knob in while trying to turn it down and the machine put me in some setting where the center knob no longer controled the volume. The screen is hard to see especially while driving. After pushing every button on it I finally got it turn off I’m going to return this radio for something different. Maybe you’ll have better luck with it but I can’t stand They threw convenience out the window when designing this
A:AnswerI bought it for my 96 jeep grand cherokee limited. Witch has a factory double den tape dec so i figured the double den blue tooth cd receiver would fit nice. Well it dident i had to cut a plastic housing out an cut part of my dash clip to fit it
A:AnswerYes, it is on a timer. Typically it is related to the factory preset on the vehicle itself. My factory radio did the same. As soon as I exited the vehicle the radio turns off.
