Is this receiver set up to handle subwoofer null

It does have a Sub connection for it but i bought 2 large front tower speakers and I used the microphone for initial set up, adjusted the bass a bit higher than normal and i dont see the need for subwoofer, if you have a larger room than sub may be needed.
