Definitely. It’s a great receiver. Worth the money
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely, and if you have a pair of speakers in another room, or perhaps outdoors, it can power those at the same time and play separate content. If you add an expensive two-channel amplifier, you can even add a third independent zone!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can do 7.2, or even 5.2. You can set zones. Zone 1 would be for the 7.2 application. Zone 2 could be used for 2 speakers in another location, like on a patio. I have a Pioneer 9.2 Channel. I have 3 zones: 1 is 5.2 for my living room. Zone 2 is for 2 ceiling speakers on my covered patio. Zone 3 is for 2 outdoor speakers on the back of my house facing the pool. Pioneer has a good app I use to control the receiver from an iPad or iPhone. Hope this helps.
