• A:Answer Hi Myles - The only way I can see this happening is by running a second, third, etc. set of wires from the back of the unit to the room(s) with the speakers you want in those rooms. This is, obviously, for audio only from the AM-FM tuner/CD functions. The only negative is that you cannot isolate the sound for an individual room. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI didn't notice any pre-outs on this unit. I have a five channel outboard amp. I thought all Elites had full pre-outs. Also, specs didn't state whether this unit will be or is HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatible. Thanks.

Q: QuestionMy speakers have a buzz coming from them since I hooked up this new receiver. Did not buzz before. Do I have the power cord touching something causing a weird ground ?

• A:Answer KC, you could have a ground problem with one of the connected components. This use to be common when record turntables were in widespread use, you had to connect the ground wire from the turntable to the receiver. So you could try disconnecting your components one at a time and see if this makes the buzz go away. You could also try unplugging each component from AC power one at a time, or rearrange the routing of the power cords.

Q: QuestionWhen I play Dolby Atmos DVD (MI-Rogue Nation), STATUS shows D Atmos/Dolby TD input and output as DIRECT 5.1.2 and the indicator on Receiver displays only BD/DVD not Dolby Atmos. I have Sony BDP-S6500 blue ray. How to correct it. Using HDMI.

• A:Answer Dolby Atmos is a audio format that currently is only on 4k discs, no blu-ray discs. The LED on the Pioneer likely responds to a display button on the remote and when pressed will then show the audio format that is playing, which would be DTS or DTS-HD depending on your blu-ray player audio settings.

Q: QuestionMy current receiver isn't 2.2 capable but it does upscale 1080 to near 4K. Does this receiver only pass the 4k signal or will it upscale say cable TV to the same near 4K?
