    • Answer The VREC-H120SC is not wireless. You need to have the USB cable connected for power.

  • QuestionWhen does it start and stop recording?

    • Answer When you power the unit off, it will stop recording. Parking & Surveillance Mode requires the optional Pioneer RD-HWK300 to active the parking mode. This will allow it to record while the vehicle is powered off.

    • Answer The VREC-H120SC can only face one direction. Typically, it is facing forward. The camera can be swiveled to face backwards too.

  • QuestionCan this be hardwired?

    • Answer most Usb power-in dashcams can be hardwired. I went with FitDvr power module that allowed me to wire the dashcam to the central console near the rearview mirror. I didnt use the Pioneer though as I didnt like the app reliability, You must use the fitdvr kit that is specific to your vehicle (search on big A)
