Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The maximum temperature setting is 400F. However, this is a SMOKER, which means slow cooking at low temperatures. I cook prime rib and salmon around 200F. You can turn it up higher, but the the meat will not be as juicy and tender, nor will it have a strong smoky flavor. You defeat the purpose of the smoker if you use it like a grill or kitchen oven.
