Yes, my child is in the 5th grade and that was the only reason why I initially purchased these for her computer class. They sounded so great, that I got me a pair to use on my HP laptop. Great sound quality.

Yes, they will work but only if they are careful. They could be easily broken without care.

They appear to be adjustable down to lil'kid sizes.

I think they would. They would be the perfect size, they are snug yet flexible, and they are durable. They don't have any small parts that could be a hazard and they are well padded.

The earcups are adult size and maybe too big for smaller ears.

These can be used for almost any age.
