“pausing books on iphone I use my iPhone to listen to books. I just purchased the Plantronice Backbeat Fit and it will NOT pause my books. Also when I answer the phone it will not automatically go back to my book. It will pause music if that is what I am listening to, but not my book. HELP”

This is an issue with your app rather than the headphones. I listen to audiobooks exclusively with these headphones using the audible app, and have never ever had an issue with the book not pausing when i hit the left button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The bluetooth profile used by the headset to control media (pause/play/skip) is the AVRCP profile. The application you are using would have to be supported by your phone using bluetooth and using that profile for the controls to work. Unfortunately if that app doesn't use that profile, you won't be able to use the controls.
