“Can the plastic ear loop and ear tip be replaced on this model?”

• Yes, our Explorer 500 and 505's eartips and ear loops are user replaceable and you can find them as part of an eartip kit (which includes 3 eartips and 1 earloop). Please don't hesitate to contact our customer care group at www.plantronics.com/support if you have other questions!

• The plastic ear loop looks as though it can be replaced. The ear tip does not look like it is easily replaced. I have not tried to replace either.

• The only contact with the flesh is a single piece of soft, clear plastic that is both the ear cushion/tip, and the loop. It is not an over the ear loop, only a short closed loop that extends backwards and settles into one of creases in the ear, behind the ear-canal. The headset came with a second cushion/loop that is for smaller ears.

• Yes they are interchangeable with a larger or smaller ear loop and ear piece.
