The Bluetooth will stay in your ear fine with the rubber piece that has the loop on it. I didn't understand whay the loop was there at first, but it actually helps to hold the Bluetooth in place.

Most of them can use the headset without the loop but some of them need that loop in order for the headset to stay in place securely. The only way to know for sure is by trying it. In case it doesn't work for you, we definitely recommend trying a headset with a different wearing style.
