Sounds like you are getting interference from somewhere. Is your wheelchair electric? A doctor I used to see had an electric wheelchair and he found it caused interference with his electronic devices when he held them in his lap. Hope this helps.

When you turn it on it will tell you how much battery life is left. I only ask this because you don't make mention of the battery.

The earpiece goes into deep sleep mode after 90 minutes of not being in use, nor connected to any phone; hence it shouldn't disconnect from your phone. Please try pairing your headset with a different phone to isolate the cause of the issue. If you get the same results with the other phone then the problem comes from the earpiece and it is best to replace it. Please note this model counts with a one-year warranty from date of purchase.
