I've had the M90 version for over a year now (identical), and I have used it daily (5 days at 9 hrs continuous use, and weekends sparingly). I have never had any issues, clarity is excellent both receiving and sending, of which spurred me to gift the M95 to a few friends. I thought I was getting a cheap Bluetooth headset that would suffice until I could afford a more expensive one, but why bother, this one works better than I expected! I'm still tempted to purchase a higher model, but most don't offer the talk time this has of 11 hrs. I like to listen to music while working, or mountain biking, where I need to be able to hear whats going on around me but still enjoy tunes. The earpiece tells me who's calling (temporarily pausing the music) and I decide whether I want to answer or not, then the music continues. The earpiece is comfortable to the point I forget I have it in, and have even searched for it only to find I'm still wearing it! I've owned 3 other Bluetooth headsets that were excellent as well, but their battery life was much shorter (6 hrs ea), and at a slightly higher price than the M95. I even started using 2 throughout the day to get by. Not anymore. I can't imagine a better headset with this kind of battery life, let alone anywhere near this price range. My boss purchased an item that cost 3x's as much as mine at the same time as I did, that boasted 10 hrs of talk time, but dropped to about 5 hrs after a few months! He gave it to his son and bought the m95 because mine has worked great and still holding 11 hr talk time. I still look at the other headsets from time to time, but haven't found anything I'm willing to purchase due to lack of continuous talk time length. The m95 is kind of bland looking and it's using an older Bluetooth tech. but it still works great! Pros: Outstanding battery life! (11 hrs continuous use) Comfort (offers Simple to use Cons: Distance from phone use Bland styling Old Bluetooth tech.

Don't get fooled by the description or price. My wife's original Plantronics, after many years, stopped working. I was going to purchase that same model, in white, as we were completely satisfied with it, for a Christmas present. I went to Best Buy to buy one and there were no Sales Reps there that could tell me if another model I saw was the newest or not so I called Plantronics. They told me that this model that I was considering purchasing was their latest and had all the features of the other model I had. The main difference was that it was It had HD Sound and more talk time before recharging, It was also $10 less expensive. I purchased it. My wife was thrilled when she opened her Christmas gift. After charging we turned it on and tested it so I called her. She was impressed with how clear it was. However, on my end it was too clear. The sound was high pitched and picked up every background noise imaginable. I the TV was on when I called her I heard it perfectly over her and couldn't make out clearly what she said. I had to ask her to shut the TV when she called me. I asked her to lower the volume on her earpiece, but that didn't work. I have a parrot that talks, whistles and sings so I had to ask my wife to go to another room when we spoke as my parrot's voice was ridiculously loud. This earpiece picks up ants walking. I tried lowering my earpiece when I call but now I couldn't hear my wife good enough. We decided to return it and get the original model we had been using and pay the extra $10. However, Best Buy would not refund us for this as they said that this had a 15 day refund policy. Really?? I bought this over the Holidays as a Christmas present for her. Note to self...never buy any gifts for someone at Best Buy. You'll be stuck with it if it doesn't work out for you. Now when my wife calls me I have her turn OFF the earpiece and talk through the phone. It's been several weeks since this fiasco and all her family members and friends complain about how loud and high pitched it sounds on their end. I have decided to throw away this new earpiece and purchase her the original one I wanted to buy in the first place. Happy Wife - Happy Life! Unhappy Best Buy Customer.

Well, I learned the hard way that it was my phone that truly seems to be "allergic" to BT connectivity, but still once upon a time there were these things called "flip phones" and it just so happened that Sony Ericsson made a good one. If you bought a like branded BT earset to use with the flip phone then you could simply press the button on the side of the ear piece, wait for your prompt and then say the person you wanted the phone to call exactly the way you recorded the "sound shortcut" the phone would then match what you said to what you recorded and stored on file and it made a "sound match" if you will - then you'd be talking to the person you asked for. If it didn't match you'd have to try again. Very rarely would it ever confuse one recording with another recording. With the plantronics earset, technology has moved along a bit, I like it's battery life, I like it's ability to tell you how much battery is left or it's ability to locate the earset when it's lost with an app from the play store. Even the feature where you can tell it to call any random number shows's great promise, yet it's all poorly executed. This thing totally sucks at understanding me no matter if I speak like me or like a mono-tone robot. I've used plenty of software with big companies like UPS would use just so you can speak your tracking number. They never have problems with my speaking skills, but this thing can't even hear anything right, numbers or names, it even hears different names of people that I have in my contacts and calls them even when their name sounds nothing like what I spoke. And so I have no secure way to know I'm getting who I'm asking for. It severely limits how I might choose to use my BT earset. Somehow the tech involved with this doesn't even eclipse that of flip phone era technology, so for the ability to find it with an app and for super long battery time and for fitting in my ear in a way that it doesn't easily fall out I give this earset 3 stars. Fix your voice recognition S/W and you'll get 5 stars outta me.

Was looking for a bluetooth headset for driving. Didn't need anything too fancy, just something I can listen to my calls or GPS while driving that has good call/standby time. I had seen price ranges from 50-200 dollars! Was surprised to see such a broad range. Plantronics has always made solid headsets for the business desk phone, so I gave this 1 a chance. Price was attractive. Setting up was a breeze. Call volume is a little lower than I expected initially, but it's clear as day. Just raise the volume a bit. Tested it on a windy day & the wind did not interfere with my calls (plus). Battery lasts which was exactly what I wanted (11 hours fully charged, but I don't need to talk THAT long, lol). Only snag is that it can get a little uncomfortable after wearing it for more than a hour. Again, not a deal breaker since I mainly use it for driving. If you're looking for a decent headset that won't break the bank, give this product a look.

I needed a bluetooth headset so that I could make handsfree calls while on a road trip recently and this seemed to be a good middle-of-the-road solution. Pros: Great sound quality in calls and supports streaming audio so you could use it to listen to podcasts (I don't recommend music--it's definitely designed for talking) Great battery life. I get at least two weeks of use out of a charge (roughly 9-10 hours of talk time and the rest on standby). Easy to control with a real on/off switch. I hate headsets that try to skimp on controls by leaving off an on/off switch. Cons: Not comfortable to wear for longer than about 4 hours. This is entirely dependent on your ear, but I found I need to take it out for at least an hour and let my ear rest if I'm wearing it for extended periods of time. No interchangeable ear gels. This would probably help some with making it more comfortable for long periods of use. Charging LED. I don't know if it's a manufacturing defect on my unit or if they're all like this, but the charging LED on mine barely illuminates at all. It's so dim, it's hard to see unless you hold it at the proper angle.

This is my second plantronics bluetooth. I had the M165- worked great for 4 years. But this one, M95 much louder and clear. Sound cancelling is great. I have asked people how I sound driving on the highway in my work van. They all tell me they don't hear any back ground noise. The battery says 11hours of talk time, it's close I get about 10. Better than my old M165 witch was 7 new and about 4 when I replaced it. The M95 is light, easy to use, answer and end call button on ear piece. Volume buttons and power switch also. Comes with in ear and over the ear holder. Can use any micro usb cable and charger, charges quickly, mine has charged in under 30 minutes. Also comes with wall charger. Works great for playing music, auto pauses for phone call, resumes when call ends.

Here's the question you have to ask yourself. If you are looking for an all day, in the office on the phone with clients Bluetooth, you honestly should get an overhead one with boom mic. Nothing else compares. But if you are looking for a super lightweight, long battery life unit with excellent sound for hearing on calls or listening to music as you run around town, and can live with acceptable but not excellent outgoing call quality, this is your headset. The best part is you do not look like a cyborg wearing it. It is small and quite discrete. To summarize. Not the 100% professional office Bluetooth, but definitely the one you want to pop on your ear when you leave the office or head to the gym.

I pretty much won't use my phone without a bluetooth, so I need one that's reliable and durable. The Plantronics - M95 Bluetooth Headset provides both. Thanks to the gel tabs (?) that comes with the unit, it's easy adjust this bluetooth to perfectly fit my ear. (I have small ears which would cause other bluetooth devices to constantly slip out of my ear) Audio from the caller is crystal clear! I'm told that my voice comes through clearly, as well, with little-to-no background noise. That's important to me because I'm on the road a lot, and road noise would often ruin my phone calls while driving. Not an issue any more. In fact, this is my SECOND M95! My young dog...well, you can imagine the rest. I loved the first one so much, I replaced the destroyed one with the same model. Definitely worth the money spent.
