• If they both look the same than it shouldn't be a problem. I had lost my bluetooth than bought other one with out the charging case and my new version does charge with the old version charging case.

• Hello! We highly recommend to charge the Voyager 3220 headset with its own charging case to avoid any accidents with the battery. Although it might fit in the old charging case of the Discovery 975 you can encounter charging issues.
