• This is a polarizing lens. It is not clear. It is like a pair of polarizing sunglasses. It not only decreases light it makes things look clearer and sharpens detail.

• The polarized filter defiantly has a tint to it and requires you to be in a well lit location or use a flash. Find this tradeoff to be worth it for the quality of the results.
