If you are using the entire case (all 3 pieces) that is why. Using a front and back somewhat blocks sound. I only use the back of it plus the clip part that you clip to your belt or waistband. I never use the front covers on any phone protectors as it does muffle sound and even effect reception. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never used any PLT case other than the belt clip - which I am please with. I can only guess on remedies for your muffled problem. 1) make sure you hold the phone as close as you do without the case 2) are you using speaker phone? Try both speaker and non-speaker with and without the case 3) are you putting it in the case correctly. Yes, it sounds weird, but the plastic cuts may be covering the microphone. 4) under investigation, is there anything covering the mic - even slightly - modify or return That's my thoughts. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The case goes over your speakers which partially blocks voice recognition, I had the same problem. Although you shouldn't need to modify your case I took my dremmel and a small bit and made the holes for the speakers a bit larger, solves the problem and unless you sit their and inspect the case you would never tell it was modified.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not exactly a resolution, but I have experienced that as well a few times. All I could do is position the phone more directly to the microphone to mouth. While I appreciate the dense protection of the case, the cut outs are deep and this may be the cause of the occasional muffled interference if the microphone end gets aloof. Excellent point!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No I have not had any complaints
