The rear camera size and placement is slightly different, some cases are compatible with both models and some aren’t. The staff at Best Buy have always been willing to let me take a case out of the box and try it on my phone to make sure it will fit. I recently bought a case for a 7 and put my 6s in it. Fit just fine.
