No it is not an Apple brand strap

No it is not. It does fit the new Apple Watch 40mm though, too.

It is not an actual apple brand. It does fit well/properly with the watch (I have the new 40mm, 4 series) and it's a very comfortable band. I've been using it daily for about 3 weeks now and zero complaints or issues with fit or connection to the actual watch.
