Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not very protective if you really drop it. This is a minimal case but will keep the screen and back protected under normal use. I don’t think this is a good case for drop protection though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had very good luck with these Platinum cases - don't drop my iPhone often but when I do, this seems to protect it pretty well. I like the slim fit and tight fit. My trade in's get the top dollar after being protected by this case. I use an Invisible Shield glass + screen cover in conjunction with the Platinum case.

Please try again later.I take pretty good care of my phone so it's not a "complete answer" but the back is pretty protective and I had this for the iPhone 6 Plus and 7 Plus. There is a tad bit of an extension on the front that makes it even with the screen if you lay it down but that area isn't protective at all.
