• The grip is nice. The edges are a grippy rubber-like material, while the back is wood. I like this combo because it allows my fingers to grip around the edges, but it's still easy enough to take in and out of my pocket. I don't like the silicone ones Apple makes because they are TOO grippy and it makes it hard to put away and take out.

• Not slippery. Not tacky either. Slides in and out of picket easily, yet easy to hold in hand without fear of dropping.
