QuestionIf you buy the physical PS4 disc and upgrade it to PS5, can you still use the ‘upgraded disc’ on PS4 if you have both PS4 and PS5 consoles? Or will it only work on PS5 once it is upgraded? Not sure how the upgrade works.

- Answer According to Ubisoft's PS4 -> PS5 upgrade faq, Yes. You'll be able to play on either console but you'll need to have the disc in to play. "ONCE AN ELIGIBLE PLAYSTATION 4 GAME HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO PLAYSTATION 5, CAN I PLAY IT ON PLAYSTATION 4 STILL? Yes. If your game is eligible to be upgraded to a next generation console and you go through with the upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, you will still be able to play the game on your PlayStation 4 using your original copy of the game. Note that for physical versions of the game, you’ll need to have the disc inserted in the tray to proceed."

QuestionDoes anyone know if the GOLD edition will be available for the PS5? I suppose I could just get the PS4 gold one, then do the PS5 free upgrade (which this game is confirmed to support), but I'd rather just keep it simple.

- Answer It looks like the Gold PS5 version is available, just not here at Best Buy right now for some reason. I ended up just getting the Gold PS4 version and will upgrade it to the PS5. As I intend to keep my PS4 hooked up as well, it'll be nice to have the flexibility to chose either console. I attempted to ask Best Buy support about the Gold version of the game for PS5 and they weren't paying attention and only told me they were out of PS5 pre-orders and that it can only be done online. Even after trying to clarify that I was looking for information about the game title, they still kept telling me about the console. Whatever, I'm sure they're busy.

- Answer Yes….upgrade to the next gen is free….any ps4 game or actual copy itself will automatically upload the upgrade to be played in the ps5….it takes literally less than 5 mins…even less than 4 mins to upgrade and you ready to go

- Answer Is not…..ps4 disc will get upgraded once you insert it in the ps5 system unless you have a ps5 digital….once purchased and downloaded? It will download with the upgrade to be played in the ps5
