Depends on the speed of your Motherboard, for example Motherboard speed takes 8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz Pc3-10600 would not take a upgrade 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz CL 11 Don't waste your money like I did even though the packaging stating that's it's compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If this is truly a desktop it should work yes, But this could depend on the motherboard as well. My advice would be to look up your exact computer model and see what max amount of ram it would be compatible with As well as check and make sure it is truly ddr3, some motherboards that ran ddr2/3 are also picky with the voltage the ram runs at as well so look into that. Normally for 64bit you would want a min of 6 to 8gb of ram, so going up from 2 gb you will defiantly see a difference, although some will depend on you hard drive speed and cpu clock speed as well as cores/threads.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be compatible, I put it in a Windows 7 about 8 yrs old verify the pin count is the same. It works well as a replacement for my 4 GB stick. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to check with the computer's manufacturer to see what the maximum amount of memory your particular system supports.
