Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Flash drives are not made to be compatible with a specific operating system they work with all. What I recommend is that you do not format it once you get it. I have used my pny on windows 8, windows 7, Vista and so on from all the different operating systems and I have never had any problems putting recovery media on. However, if the recovery media is too large then you will get errors and it will stop the files. I hope this helps you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any flash drive can be reformatted for the OS you will use. I have found that most come formatted in Fat32. I reformat them to use on my Macs.
