NOT a good choice as this is an INTERNAL DRIVE and you are needing (apparently) an EXTERNAL DRIVE. Ask the Geek squad folks for help on what you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What year is your MBAir? Also, mine is 2013 model year, would I be able to do this with mine? And if so, where can I find the process explaining how it's done? TIA!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the PNY 120 would be a good choice, there’s no reason to get a smaller drive. Be aware that running it externally will not give you the full high-speed that an SSD can provide. However, I’m using it externally to boot an older iMac into Mac OS 10.11, and it’s working great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.64gb is pretty small for a windows install
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you have to have the extra speed that any SSD can provide, I would recommend a USB 3 flash drive in a capacity that suits your use case. If you need the extra speed, but can’t afford to spend even a penny more, then this isn’t a bad choice. Just be sure to keep your receipt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is an internal drive, you would need an external drive adapter and those are usually USB so it's unlikely to work well as a dual boot solution. However it will easily hold windows 10 without any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have external drive case, you can install it. Other wise it will be suffice 128 GB on Mac book air.
