“Will this work on an old aspire netbook?”

• It's possible, since the original Aspire netbook came with a 160 Gb hard disk. However, the Aspire is a very old system, so there may be compatibility issues, especially with newer OSes like Windows 10. Your money might be better invested buying a newer computer. My 2¢.

• it really depends on the bios, but I put one in a Netbook and it worked

• It really depends on if the original Hard drive is IDE or Sata....all SSD are Sata connected.
