Hi, It depends. First of all, this is an Internal Disk, so it needs to be installed by someone with a minimum technical expertise. If you have a Desktop computer, this can be installed as a secondary disk and then save some of the old/new data/information in the new disk. However, you need to validate if your desktop allows installing a second disk. If you have a laptop, then the answer is NO. You cannot install a second disk in order to Add more memory. In that case you will have to replace the current disk with another one with more capacity. It will have to be installed by a technician who will also have to transfer ALL your programs and data from the old disk to the new disk. If possible, try running Windows disk cleaner to recover some space and deleting some old files that you may not need. Mostly videos and pictures. I hope this helps. Best regards,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, just put it in a 2.5 ssd mount, plug the cable from drive to computer format your computer will probably ask you about the drive tell it what you want. Should be straightforward.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will if you add this as your additional drive providing your computer has enough space to accommodate it. If you are thinking of replacing the OS drive then I highly recommend a much large capacity, like a 500GB or even larger.
