• By DRAM you mean dynamin memory. I think you should not worry about this concept since the SSD is completely a temporary, permanent or dynamic memory bank according to your needs.

• Product documentation does not specifically state if it has DRAM or not; however documentation states use of similar product (CS1311) technology, which does have DRAM... I'd mark this as an unknown until PNY confirms or denies directly.
