Yes it will work but you may need to purchase a 2.5 SSD SATA to 3.5 Hard Drive Internal Drive Bay to secure it as the drives on desktop are 3.6 and this one is 2.5

Also, it will only support 3 GB/s transfer speeds (half the SATA maximum of 6 GB/s), as that PC is very old. Because it's running on 32-bit Windows, it will only support up to 1 TB of space per drive. From the spec sheet: "SATA 3.0GB/s: 7200RPM with 8MB or 16MB DataBurst Cache™ up to 1.0TB. Chassis supports up to two internal SATA drives (2.0TB storage maximum)" All that said, if you use this for your main Operating System hard drive, it should speed up your computer considerably - read/write speeds will be massively faster, and starting Windows and loading programs will be much, much faster.
