- Answer Yes, this product will help you free up space on your iPhone. It does require the DUO-LINK 4 app from the Apple App store and the first time you insert it into your iPhone you will be prompted to install app from App store.

- Answer this just works like your regular flash drive, that is, you can keep your files there for as long as you want. you don't need to transfer your files to your computer's hard drive right away. hope that helps!
