- Answer It's trial and error. You need to buy it and find out for your self if you want to use flash drives. I suggest better an external ssd drive instead.

- Answer You can transfer the photos from your phone to a computer and then from the computer to the thumb drive. If your photos are already in the cloud (Google photos) you can use a computer to transfer them from the cloud to the thumb drive.

QuestionI cloned my Win 10 SSD hard drive onto this using Easus Partition Magic and it worked fine. I could even boot off of this clone and run my Win 10 PC. I made changes and now USB says write protected and I can’t even boot off drive. LED doesn’t work either.

- Answer you will need an adapter or send your photoes to another device via email then plug in the thumbdrive to copy.

- Answer If your car stereo has a USB port, it should play if the music is in te correct format--MP3, but some may also play music in .wma, .4ma, & mpeg4-aac. Hope this helps. If you google the manual of the stereo or car manual if stock, it should list all formats in the specs.

QuestionI have a PNY 32 GB I tried to download something and got the message that I need to format the disk. I don't, Ihave a lot of stuff on it, it says it's full. I can't access anything, is there any way I can transfer what's on it to a larger flash drive?

- Answer Look at the properties of the PNY 32 GB drive to confirm if it's really full. If yes, try to send, or copy, a few files from that drive to another drive. After the files have been sent, or copied, successfully to the new drive, go back to the PNY 32 GB drive and delete the transferred files to free up some space so the disk will function. Since it's full, you'll have to use a new drive for downloads. If the properties say the drive is not full, is the remaining space sufficient to hold the download? If not, you'll' need to use a drive with more space.

- Answer I use it with an older Levovo laptop which I think has a 2.0 gen USB port & I've seen files transer up to 25 MB a second. Slower on large files (like a movie). Maybe 8-10 MB per second if I transfer a huge # of photos (say 1000-1500 pictures at a time).

QuestionI just purchased this but when I tried to use on my PS4, I found that it only has 230GB of free space. I have not used this, just took it out of the package. There is a "system volume information" folder on it. Can I delete that to get 256gb?

QuestionNobody is talking about what speed this thing transfers files at. My 2.0 transfers at about 7 mbs per second and I have a 3.0 that transfers at about 22 mbs, what will this particular one do? Assuming of course you are plugging it in to 3.0 drive.
