The 64, 128, and 256 GB versions of the flash drive have the same READ speed, but the WRITE speed bumps up to 60 MB/sec. These are all specs from the manufacturer. It may not be the fastest out there, but it certainly is way better than most. And when the price is factored in, it is a good deal. I've used mine for about 2 months now, and as far as USB flash drives it is the fastest I've used.
