The best way to find out compatibility is to turn your laptop on and the open your task manager. You can do this by pressing control, alt and delete at the same time or by right clicking the task bar in the bottom right corner. Once you are in the task manager click on the tab that says memory. If you are running a recent version of windows then it should give you a clear description of the memory your computer is using. Then you can compare with what is available for purchase. Every company builds their computers differently so make sure you get the right memory setup. Good luck!
