• Will it work? Probably. Will it run at the speed you want it to? No. This RAM is stuck at 2400 MHz.

• Yes it will work but unfortunately this ram module is running at a slower frequency which will cause your laptops bios to correct for this and slow down your current ram stick to match this sticks speed. It will put you into dual channel mode with more memory though so with that in mind I would say it’s probably still a worthwhile upgrade.
