• A:Answer In theory, yes. However, you’ll want to verify that your laptop rubs the RAM at the correct voltage. I’ve seen DDR4-3600 rub in 6th generation Intel systems with h-110 motherboards. Ryzen is more picky about it. Your milage may vary.

• A:Answer Try to find a Youtube video for your make and model of machine like I did - that will likely be your best source of information. Depending on what memory you already have installed you will most likely need only one module of equal performance to the one that is installed (manufacturers have an easier time assembling computers by installing memory in only one slot.)
