To add a little more information, Let's Go Pikachu you can only enjoy the great first generation, the famous 151 pokémon's, while Shield and Sword is the eighth generation (the last generation at the moment) where it offers us 898 pokémon's, only in this delivery appear 400 pokémon's, but even so it is still an excellent game.

It’s definitely more kid friendly because kids these days don’t know how many times we’ve had to go through the Kanto region. Meanwhile Pokémon Sword/Shield takes place in the Galar region which is very loosely based on England. It’s also very geared towards playing with Nintendo Switch Online to play with others.
